CEO model Photographer Writer Dreamer Lady

My story is to extensive to expose in one About Me section, and much is still unwrittern, but here's a little piece. Starting at a young age I have been intrigued and influenced by all artistic areas. My first dream was to model, hopefully to become a Victoria Secret Angel. It seemed so magical to me, getting payed to play dress up? Life couldn't be better then that. Well that all went to hell when I discovered cupcakes. Cooking and baking helped me decide that I loved food more then walking around in my panties, at least in public. I think I had such a passion about baking because I was taking all these little small ingredients and creating something new. That and it was pretty much in my blood, coming from a big country family and all. Alas my waist line and my skinny jeans told me to find a new hobby which led me to poetry. Writing was amazing, it was a place to create my own unique truth. I could tell my story or create a story and explore my imagination. While I did enjoy having the chance to have my own voice it just didn't fill me completely soI returned to my original dream of fashion. This time I aspired to be a fashion and costume designer. The way I saw it was I could still be a part of the fashion world without having to be on the runway and the center of attention. The more I got involved with the fashion world I was eventually introduced to photography. The moment that strap sat around my neck and I snapped that first photo I was hooked. Photography was a connection to the world I had never experienced before, it was like your first kiss and all of a sudden you see the world in a whole new light. Keeping photography as a hobby I decided to return to writing. Writing was something I always enjoyed event though it left me a little incomplete. I think I had loss the passion for it somewhere while suffering through mundane 5-13 page school papers. As I began to work on my writing the idea of #COLORS was born. I realized and accepted that I was an addict at least to the arts. My desire to be involved with any and everything artistic would never die so I wanted to create a place that could expose all of my passions. #COLORS is not just a blog for my voice and my art, but all my creative sisters of color trying to make it in this world. I am an advocate for the arts and love to support any field that it includes as well as anyone involved with them.
